JDRF Support

Hey Everyone! I am a proud member of JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I have Type 1 Diabetes (known as Juvenile Diabetes) and was diagnosed in January 2000. I would really appreciate your support of me as I prepare for the 2009 Walk To Cure Diabetes on September 26, 2009 located in Orem, UT. Please consider making a donation in any amount you can:

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for donations! Unfortunately this year I will not have the opportunity to walk this year. That exact same morning I will be attending the Commencement Ceremony for Provo College. I will get to walk early and then later get my diploma in November when I finish my last term. I still accept donations and I appreciate it in any amount!

Christmas Week

I had a pretty good Christmas Break. I started my time Dec 23. I drove to the airport and everything was clear until I got to Sandy. There was a pocket of snow, almost white out condition. Took some extra time to get through it, but good thing I left early. I got to the airport and had no delays which was quite amazing! Got to Seattle fine and there was snow everywhere! Just a bit weird for Seattle. They must have had atleast 6 inches of snow. And if anyone knows anything about Seattle and Washington, having snow is not normal! Roads were a mess and doesn't help when millions of people can't drive on it! It took us a good two hours to get home. Driveway was horrible because no plows do it. So it was just tracks into the snow. Quite messy. So I spent most my time playing games on my brothers xbox 360. It was quite fun. I beat his new racing game, Need For Speed Undercover in the time I was there. I had a wonderful Christmas. Pretty much just got money which was all I really expected. Didn't really do much but stay at the house because of snow and all. My dad had to take my brother to work because he couldn't use his car to get out. Sunday went to my parents ward. It was good. Recognized some of the people there. After church my dad took me to the airport and again no delays! I don't know that I have ever had much better traveling times in the airport. I got home just fine. Came back to an empty, peaceful apartment which is quite a change from what it usually is. So yeah that was pretty much my Christmas break and it was really nice to get away for a few days! I even got a white Christmas which I hadn't been sure if I was going to get.
