JDRF Support

Hey Everyone! I am a proud member of JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I have Type 1 Diabetes (known as Juvenile Diabetes) and was diagnosed in January 2000. I would really appreciate your support of me as I prepare for the 2009 Walk To Cure Diabetes on September 26, 2009 located in Orem, UT. Please consider making a donation in any amount you can:

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for donations! Unfortunately this year I will not have the opportunity to walk this year. That exact same morning I will be attending the Commencement Ceremony for Provo College. I will get to walk early and then later get my diploma in November when I finish my last term. I still accept donations and I appreciate it in any amount!

Our Relationship Growing & Temple Attendance

I have had quite some amazing times with Rachel these last few days. We find time to spend as much time as possible with each other and I try to savor every moment that I can. I love being with Rachel! We are such a cute couple and it is so great!

Yesterday was so good! I had my doctors appointment in the morning and that was ok. My blood sugars need to get better. They were a little worse than the last time I went to the doctor. I just need to take better control and focus harder. After the doctor appointment I went to the Provo Temple and did an Endowment Session. It was nice to finally be back in the Temple since it has been quite some time since I was last there. I spent a great deal of time in the Celestial Room mostly pondering about my life and also about Rachel and me. I had nothing but good feelings and impressions. It has been one of my most spiritual experiences in the Temple. I knew that I needed to go and it was such a great time! I received some insightful thoughts about my relationship with Rachel. I know that we are supposed to be together and that God crossed our paths for a very important reason! So yeah, I had an awesome time and very very spiritual experience. I cannot express how happy it has made me that I was able to ponder and get some answers that I needed very much from visiting the Temple!

After the Temple I went home and grabbed some lunch. Got all my things together and I took off to go see Shannon. Later we went and looked at a Town House/Condo and it seemed pretty nice. It would be great if they took it because its right along my driving route to school. But I am not the decision maker on this. After coming back to her place we got ready to go do Baptisms at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. It was another enlightening spiritual experience. We ended up doing some names for a couple older ladies who were unable to do it themselves. There was five or six sister names and two brother names. Rachel and I were very glad to help them out. I baptized Rachel in behalf of the sister's names and then some guy baptized me for the brother's names. It was a very good experience and I desire to go to the Temple often with Rachel. I also got to confirm and be confirmed. It was a very good experience despite it being short and all. But nonetheless it was very good! Afterwards we walked around the Temple and took a few pictures. We had a great time!

I feel that our relationship has been growing. I feel that I care for Rachel more and more every time we get together. I love spending every moment I can with her and feel so good around her. We are meant to be together and I am so glad that we met!

Yesterday was pretty good. Mom, Dad, Shaun and I went around visiting grandparents. We first visited our grandparents in Hinckley. They were excited to see us and also very excited for Rachel and I. It was good to see them and we stayed there for a few hours. It was good visiting with them.

We then headed back to Nephi and got some dinner. Then continued onto Fairview where we visited with grandparents for a little while. It was good to see them as well and tell them the news of Rachel and I.

Got home close to 9:30 and I called Rachel up. Soon I was driving to her house to see her and we had a good time together as always! We are going to to her ward tomorrow (actually that is today) and I am pretty excited for that. Then she wants to make me dinner but I told her that I am going to help her so she doesn't have to do it all by herself. We are in this together and again I am so glad that I met her!
