JDRF Support

Hey Everyone! I am a proud member of JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I have Type 1 Diabetes (known as Juvenile Diabetes) and was diagnosed in January 2000. I would really appreciate your support of me as I prepare for the 2009 Walk To Cure Diabetes on September 26, 2009 located in Orem, UT. Please consider making a donation in any amount you can:

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for donations! Unfortunately this year I will not have the opportunity to walk this year. That exact same morning I will be attending the Commencement Ceremony for Provo College. I will get to walk early and then later get my diploma in November when I finish my last term. I still accept donations and I appreciate it in any amount!

Pretty exciting week

I have had quite a good week. Lately I have picked up chatting with a girl that I started talking online with earlier this month (January). We talked on the phone Tuesday evening for a couple hours. It was really good. She lives pretty close by in Sandy. So I imagine that sometime we are going to meet. I don't think there was a night we didn't talk/chat with each other.

Work was a pretty normal work with the exclusion of taking Friday off. School was good to. My Ethics class is just as boring as it always is. Color Theory is awesome. We started working on our Color Wheel project and I finished that up on Saturday. That is more exciting stuff than my Ethics class if you ask me.

So Friday was a pretty awesome day for me. My doctors appointment at the Diabetes Clinic was good. My A1c test was a smidgin lower than the last time. But it was an improvement and that's what counts. Then later that morning I went to the Provo College American Fork campus and took a tour of it. Its a way nice building and everything. I got some more info on doing their Web Design program. It looks like I may start that this next year in January. So I'm excited for that. After that I went to the Draper Temple Open House. It was really nice! I enjoyed going and the temple is so beautiful even though it is small! Oh man and all the houses that are next to it are so huge! Theres one that looks kinda like a castle and is just insane. I know the church likes putting temples in resedential areas but why to such huge homes I don't know. Makes me kinda think that there are a lot of people who are so worldly. I don't know. But it was still a great trip even if I did go by myself.

Saturday was a pretty normal day. I worked on my Color Wheel project and did laundry. Then that evening I spent part of it chatting. And that is pretty much the week.
