JDRF Support

Hey Everyone! I am a proud member of JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I have Type 1 Diabetes (known as Juvenile Diabetes) and was diagnosed in January 2000. I would really appreciate your support of me as I prepare for the 2009 Walk To Cure Diabetes on September 26, 2009 located in Orem, UT. Please consider making a donation in any amount you can:

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for donations! Unfortunately this year I will not have the opportunity to walk this year. That exact same morning I will be attending the Commencement Ceremony for Provo College. I will get to walk early and then later get my diploma in November when I finish my last term. I still accept donations and I appreciate it in any amount!

Been a pretty good week and weekend so far

My week was pretty typical with work and school. Work is good and I still have my steady job that pays the bills! So I don't have anything to complain about with my job. School has been good to. I am pretty much caught up on all my homework and having a good time learning new things.

I think that I have finally gotten over Rachel and I breaking up. For some reason it hit me this week and I am now ok with us being friends. Among that I have been getting back into finding dates from online. I feel right now that is my best option since I work all day and then have school until 10 pm or so. My only available time is Fridays and Saturdays. My ward isn't really much of an option because I can't go to any of the activities. But I'm fine with that. I haven't really made a connection with my ward. I just kinda go and that's about it.

Friday I had the day off from work and also am receiving Holiday Pay. In the afternoon Shannon, Shaun and I went and watched the new Transformers movie. It was pretty awesome and we all liked it! I helped Dad get his mom's computer fixed and what not.

Saturday morning Shaun and I went to my grandparents in Hinckley (near Delta, UT) and set up her computer, email, printer etc. I ended up signing her up for a hotmail account because we couldn't access her email. But it was good to see them both and be able to help out.

Later Saturday I went over to Shannon's house and had a barbecue with her family. We watched Spiderman 3 and started another movie. We watched some of the fireworks from BYU Stadium in Provo. It was pretty cool and all.

I have had a little luck with my online dating efforts. I got a phone number yesterday from "Nancy" and we texted some today and yesterday. Texted some more with her today and decided that I will be calling tomorrow. I am looking forward to talking with her! Thats pretty much all the update I have for now.
